Hello everyone! What a wonderful weekend we had at the opening of my exhibition 'The Fantastical Beings, Fashion, and Flowers, despite the high winds that swept through.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to all who helped prepare for the event. It was truly fantastic to reconnect with old friends and family members who traveled so far to be in Bowral.
Posie Graeme-Evans, the renowned Australian novelist, television and film producer, editor, screenwriter, and director, best known as the creator of the TV Series 'McLeod's Daughters', graciously opened the exhibition – a very special moment for me indeed!
Thank you also to The National Trust of NSW for everything, especially to Ann who just looked so elegant for the art show!
Meeting new people at Retford Park was particularly delightful. There's still one more week to experience it all. For those who couldn't make it, Retford Park reopens at 10 am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll be in the gallery most of the time and look forward to welcoming you.
Bring your friends and children to see the fantastical beings; and the gorgeous gardens of Retford Park are also blooming beautifully for spring!
All the information about the exhibition is on The National Trust of NSW Website - (In the What's On section)
Stay safe in this crazy weather and I wish you all a wonderful and creative week. xxCoty❤️

Styling is a reflection of our personality – our tastes, our power of observation, our own cultural upbringing and our talent for originality. Creativity is a fundamental human compulsion to invent or to compose.
Take time each week to create your own ideas, however humble you may think they are. Look closely at the details in everything and notice the colours, the shapes and the deep inner feelings you have when you are attracted to something. Creative expression comes from the many objects we have around us in our lives, a bowl of flowers, a favourite teapot on a lovely table, paintings on a wall or how a garden looks on a misty day.
Creativity is inspired by the wonders of our universe. When you are in the right state of heart and soul, just like magic you can tap into the endless flow of universal creative energy and resources and inspiration comes straight to you. I believe we are here on this planet to create, to create ideas, create a family, to create a world full of peace and to live in a world full of creativity. As babies, we responded visually and creatively before we learnt to talk. We are all naturally creative, but, sometimes we just forget!
I created Styling Magazine as a platform where I could ignite the sacred ‘creative flame’ that lives inside of all of us... Styling Magazine is my place to share the abundant, and the brilliant and beautiful work of ‘creatives’ that I am so grateful to say, cross my path daily... my world is continuously enriched by my beautiful creative tribe. - Coty Farquhar
