🎄🎅 Christmas in July at The Belvedere 🎅🎄

If you’ve been following me for a few years or more, you’ll know I’m a bit of a Christmas nut, so I leapt at the chance to take my family to The Belvedere at Woody Point for their Christmas in July celebration, and wow… it was sensational! 🥰✨

🤤 Look at the food!! (Full disclosure, there was more than we could eat!)

We dined in the cosy pavilion area, welcomed with a complimentary drink, and treated to an open fire roast.

We had roast lamb at it was cooked to perfection, and the trimmings? 😍 Duck fat potatoes, charred veggies, minted peas, Yorkshire puddings – every bite was delicious!

The atmosphere was warm, festive and just the winter magic we needed.

July 6–9: Lamb
July 13–16: Chicken
July 20–23: Pork
July 27–30: Rib Fillet on the Bone

Tonight my son and I saw Jesus Christ Superstar at QPAC — and if you want to know ‘what’s the buzz… I’ll tell you what’s happening’.

Well, let’s just say, “everything’s alright, yes, everything’s fine.” We absolutely loved it!

This powerful rock opera tells the story of Jesus’ final days through the eyes of Judas, with unforgettable music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The cast blew us away with their vocals, the band had us tapping our feet, and the modern staging gave the whole show a fresh, bold edge.

From the moment the curtain rose, we were hooked — “Hosanna, hey sanna, sanna sanna ho!” 🎶

If you're wondering what’s happening at QPAC these days… “Jesus Christ Superstar — do you think you’re what they say you are?” Go see it and decide for yourself. We highly recommend it!
