This is your warning to stop chasing viral trends…
Some trends can help with overall engagement but it is not a full funnel strategy. This is what we call top of funnel or TOF content. It’s content that brings in a lot of awareness but luck in nurturing your audience or helping to convert to a paying client. Trends typically only last a few days to a few weeks and won’t keep your brand memorable for very long. But that’s why it’s important to have a full marketing funnel and understand what each piece of content is driving to make sure it’s purposeful and actually creating impact.
