Dear community,
It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of New Sun Rising, originally planned to take place this New Year’s Eve.
Our vision has always been to create a safe, legal, and sustainable event — one that celebrates music, community, and connection in harmony with the environment and local regulations. While we had secured a site that was fully approved by all stakeholders, a series of unexpected and uncontrollable circumstances meant we were unable to proceed with using it.
Securing a replacement site has been met with significant pressures from council, and limited time remaining to meet planning requirements means we are unable to proceed with the outdoor event as intended.
While this decision was not made lightly, we will continue to bring smaller indoors events and return to outdoor when the time is right. All ticket holders for New Sun Rising will receive refunds through the EventBookings website, just head to account and cancel order.
We truly appreciate your understanding, support, and love as we navigate these challenges. This community means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together at future events.
