📍War Memorial, Esplanade, Cairns City 🇭🇲

Built after World War I, this cenotaph has watched over Cairns for more than a century. It once stood in the middle of the old town, and now it rests by the water, surrounded by palms and the open sea.

Walking past with a traveller’s eye, you feel the mix of history and the tropics... names carved in stone, waves rolling in, and the city moving quietly behind you.

A small place, but it carries a long story.

📍Cairns Esplanade, Cairns City 🇭🇲

A long walk by the water, warm tropical air and palm trees moving gently in the breeze.

The lagoon, the boardwalk, the open sea and the mountains in the distance make the Esplanade feel alive from morning to night.

Families swimming, joggers passing by, birds flying low over the water! Cairns shows its best life right here.

A perfect place to slow down and enjoy the tropics.

📍Bluewater, Townsville 🇭🇲

Tropical weather, warm air and the sweet smell of mangoes everywhere.

Stopped for a seafood lunch at Bluewater today... simple dishes, ocean breeze and that relaxed FNQ rhythm you don’t find anywhere else.

Mangoes in the morning, the sea on the plate at lunch… it’s the true taste of the tropics.

📍Spice Dine, Brisbane🇭🇲

Stopped by Spice Dine for some proper Bangladeshi traditional food: ilish polao, roast polao, teheri and goru khichuri. The flavours felt like home and the meal felt special in its own quiet way. 🥰

A small celebration for a big milestone. Alhamdulillah for the journey and the blessings along the way.

একটা মানুষের কথায় একই সাথে কতটা মাধুর্য আর জ্ঞানের ছোঁয়া থাকতে পারে, তা যারা ইফতেখার স্যারের সান্নিধ্য পেয়েছেন, শুধু তারাই জানেন।

মানুষটা সবার কাছে যেমন প্রিয় ছিলেন, তাঁর পরিবারের কাছে তিনি ছিলেন ভালোবাসা, মায়া আর স্নেহের পরম আশ্রয়, যার শূন্যতা কল্পনাতেও পূরণ করা যায় না।

আল্লাহ তায়ালা Mahmud স্যারকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদাউস দান করুন এবং তাঁর পরিবারের এই অপূরণীয় শোক সহ্য করার তাওফিক দিন।
