A 400-Year-Old Shark… Still Alive Today?!

Just found this insane story and had to share it!

Scientists recently photographed a Greenland shark estimated to be around 400 years old - meaning this legend has been swimming since the 1600s.
Older than cars… older than electricity… older than almost every country’s modern history. 🤯

These sharks grow only about 1 cm per year, live in freezing deep waters, and are now believed to be the longest-living vertebrates on Earth.

Wild how nature keeps surprising us.
Imagine the things this shark has “lived through” - from the rise and fall of empires to the entire industrial age.

We should keep wild animals in their natural habitats or protected reserves and sanctuaries — not in zoos. And the only person I trust with these beasts is Kevin Richardson. 👍
