Sorry I've even MIA for a while - full time work and life in general is keeping me very busy! But I'm still here and trying to do what I can in my free time. Recently I've been delving into the world of motion graphics and animation, trying out a few different programs and getting a feel for them. It's early days at the moment and there's a lot to learn but I thought I'd just post a little something and let everyone know I am still working at this stuff and working towards being able to do video and motion design full time! This was a super quick little animation I made in After Effects with a lightsaber I drew up in Illustrator. I know it's not much but I just wanted to make something super quick from scratch to get the creative juices flowing. I'm thinking about continuing down this path and trying to put up something like this once a week, let me know what you think!

Happy Friday folks!
Hope everyone had a good long weekend and this week has gone nice and quick. I took a trip up to Hervey Bay to see the fam for Easter and on my way through Maryborough heard the rumbling of Psychosphere echoing through the streets. Of course I pulled in to catch up with the lads and got a few snaps while I was there. Always great to hear these guys doing what they do! Here's a handful of pics from the jam. Have a good weekend!

This beast of a track by Psychosphere is called "Harold Holt is Shark S**t". A brutal name for an equally brutal song. You can't help but head-bang to this track. Featuring slowwww and heavy sections as well as frantic riffage in the choruses, and don't even get me started on the absolutely insane dissonant verse melody - I promise you've never heard anything like it. Psychosphere hail from Maryborough, and are one of the pioneering heavy acts out of the Fraser Coast Region. As someone who has followed these guys from the very start I can say they are without a doubt one of the heaviest bands around, with a truly unique sound. Their live performances are guaranteed to leave you with a sore neck and ringing ears.
The first video I will be posting is a mashup of footage from Psychosphere's YouTube channel as well as some shots I was lucky enough to get during a practice session I sat in on a while back. Here's a little teaser.

I am a 1-man studio based in Brisbane's Southern suburbs. At this stage I primarily do video production, but I love doing any kind of digital media production - Photography, Graphic Design, and even Music Production. My passion lies in music and film, particularly more alternative styles, and I have mostly worked with musicians to create music videos and promotional photos.
