The Flower Hour 13 is out now!

Leading the way this month is The National's iconic frontman () with an instant classic collaboration with .habits.

We've also got a beautifully tender reworking of The Sea by fellow compatriot Lyon-based songsmith and a recent single from 's (who coincidentally have a brand new track out today!)

It also features some rocky moments - these come from the legendary , up and comer , California's electric , Japan's and Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist ().

We've got some lo-fi DIY stuff from & and a slice of sunshine all the way from Brazil from new signing .

There's a bit of hip-hop from scene stalwart , a striking piano ballad from and a blues-eock behemoth by James Snelling.

And to round it all off we've got a couple of tunes that really defy being placed into any boxes, courtesy of and .

Damn.

Enjoy

And, as always, 💐

So, we're one year in and what better way to start the twelfth installment of The Flower Hour than with a bonafide legend. An overused word, perhaps, but more than appropriate for the one and only . His new album comes out this month and the country-tinged title track kicks off this month's playlist and blog.

We've also got more acousticy folky goodness from (feat. guest guitar from ), a sing-a-long indie banger from , the newest (pretty epic) tunes from up and comers & and some absolutely filthy electronica from .

There's a laid-back indie/yacht rock hybrid from and , an equally chilled tune from French producer , an instant classic indie hip-hop track courtesy of and , female-fronted emo from and a 36 second masterpiece from .

return with their distinct brand of neo-soul, a bit of a chameleon from .eastwood and some jaunty Canadian indie-pop courtesy of .

There are some contributions from our fantastic friends over at in the form of a collaboration between and (as well as a solo single from Dan/The Lonely Suns) and the gritty new tune from Toronto rockers .

You lot are spoiled.

See you next time. And remember, 💐

There's hip-hop and R&B vibes from Akron's and London's and some truly fantastic pop moments from .WAV & , & .parche and something that veers between several genres from .
ic.sans, and being the rock vibes, there's a bit of poppy dubsteppy electronica from and we finish off with a country modern classic from .
