The new edition of is out now!

Our friends at are out in force this month with contributions from , , AND an epic remix from .

There's an exciting group project courtesy of (feat. , , and ) a blues-rock behemoth from .p.grillette, a modern anthem by and an audible odyssey from .

At the softer end of the spectrum we have the debut single from , an indie/psych-jazz ditty from and a jaunty indie-pop song from .

There's a smattering of UK indie from , and .band as well as an adventurous alt-electro piece from .

formerly of cult indie band Red Light Company is back with a forthcoming new album and the lead single from that - Strange Weather - is featured here.

The newest edition of The Flower Hour is out now!

It's made up - mostly - of songs that we've previously covered for the wonderful .

In recent weeks we've received releases by , .waters, , , , , , and and all are included here too!

Outside of songs that we've encountered via we have a great little indie rock tune from UK superstars in the making , a contribution from the prolific in the form of (with fellow member Steve Hancock - - on lead guitar!) and a fresh collab between members and !

There are some folky bits from and & and something that defies categorisation from .

We also have a tribute to the first Japanese player to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame courtesy of legendary frontman Benjamin Gibbard ().

There's also some UK 🔥 from up-and-comer and the track you hear playing here by the prodigious .

Our first book review is out now!

The Rent Eats First is a collection of politically-charged but often hilarious poetry from Eric Sirota (aka MC rota/). Reviewed by , the lengthy piece is available on now and will be on the site tomorrow.

We'd highly recommend you order and enjoy this book. You'll laugh and cry and seethe and laugh again. It's a helluva collection. A literary rollercoaster ride.

Rota is a member of who are making waves in many ways at the moment - including producing a new FREE (just cover the postage) mail order zine called , which, incidentally, features an exclusive poem from the very same author mentioned here!
