Today, I stumbled upon a new word: ASTROCARTOGRAPHY.

So, naturally, I did some research and I was honestly stunned by how this world can condition our minds to accept New Age practices as normal.

Just because something is becoming the norm does not mean it is biblical.

As followers of CHRIST, we are not called to simply blend in with the world. We are called to stand firm, even when it means going against the tide or facing criticism and persecution.

Our decisions about where to live, work, marry, travel, and how we live our lives should ultimately be brought before GOD in prayer and grounded in Scripture.

It should not be determined by planetary lines or astrological beliefs.

Allow me to share what I recently discovered…

Astrocartography is astrology applied to geography. It uses the positions of the planets at the time of your birth and interprets them as influencing your experiences in particular places.

The Bible says:

“Let no one be found among you who practices divination or sorcery…” (Deuteronomy 18:10)

The Bible also warns against those who look to the stars for guidance and prediction. (Isaiah 47:13–14)

The issue isn’t that the stars and planets are evil. Scripture tells us that GOD created them.
(Genesis 1:14–18)

The problem comes when we take something GOD created and turn it into a source of spiritual guidance, revelation, or direction that belongs to GOD alone.

Although many people may argue that astrocartography is not literally an “IDOL,” we need to understand that idolatry is not limited to bowing down to a physical statue.

Something created can become an idol when we give it the place, trust, authority, or dependence that belongs to GOD.

For example, if someone believes:

“My Venus line will bring me love.”

or

“I need to move to my Jupiter line because the planets say that is where I will experience blessing.”

then they are looking to the stars for direction about their lives.

That is where the danger of idolatry comes in.

There are so many New Age practices being introduced and normalised in our generation. My prayer is that we will not blindly accept something simply because it is popular, modern, or widely practised.

I pray that the LORD will truly open our eyes so that we may see the truth and not be deceived.

May we trust in the LORD with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Let us seek GOD and not the stars for our direction. In JESUS’ mighty name. Amen. 🙏❤️

The most misunderstood part of Esau's story...

People think Esau's greatest loss was money.

That the birthright and blessing Jacob deceitfully took from him were mainly about riches and wealth.

They weren't.

By the end of Genesis, Esau was wealthy. He had flocks, servants, and many possessions.

When Jacob offered him gifts, Esau replied, "I have enough, my brother." (Genesis 33:9)

So what did Esau actually lose???

He lost what wealth could never buy.

Esau exchanged something eternal for something immediate.

He despised the birthright, the privilege of carrying forward the covenant promise GOD gave to Abraham, which passed through Isaac and then Jacob.

Esau's descendants became the Edomites, NOT the Israelites.

Here's the part many people miss: You can be materially successful and still miss what GOD uniquely entrusted to you.

Success is not always the same as inheritance.

Prosperity is not always the same as purpose.

Influence is not always the same as calling.

Esau had enough to satisfy his life, but Jacob carried the promise that would shape history. That's why Hebrews describes Esau as "godless" not because he lacked possessions, but because he treated sacred things as ordinary.

The greatest tragedy isn't losing money.

It's gaining everything the world celebrates while slowly losing sight of what GOD called you to carry.

In the first century, fishing on the Sea of Galilee wasn't a relaxing hobby; it was grueling, brutal labour.

Fishermen worked through the freezing night, repeatedly throwing heavy, soaking-wet nets into the black water.

Often, they would work for twelve straight hours and catch absolutely nothing.

When JESUS decided to launch a global movement, heaven bypassed the persuasive Roman politicians and wealthy merchants.

Instead, JESUS walked down to the docks.

HE needed men whose muscles and minds were conditioned for rejection.

HE chose the exact men who knew what it felt like to work all night for nothing, because He knew they would have the stamina to keep casting the net of the Gospel even when the world resisted them.

You might feel exhausted right now by trying and failing.

You are putting in the hours, casting your net in your business, your relationships, or your personal goals, and pulling up nothing.

The resilience you are building in the face of zero results is not wasted.

GOD is using your empty nets to build your endurance.

When the time comes for a miraculous breakthrough, you will be the one with the stamina to haul it in.

I think I'm like Martha too, sometimes.

Martha welcomed JESUS into her home.

She opened her doors, prepared a meal, served her guests, and took responsibility for making everything right.

From the outside, Martha is the one doing the "right" thing.

She was serving, working, giving.

But somewhere along the way, her service became a burden instead of an offering.

While Martha was busy preparing for JESUS, Mary was sitting with JESUS.

That's the message of this story.

JESUS was not correcting or rebuking Martha because she served.

Service matters.

The problem was that Martha allowed the good things she was doing to pull her away from the most important thing: being PRESENT with JESUS.

JESUS said Martha was "worried and upset about many things."

He didn't say she was worried about bad things.

Sometimes the things that distract us from GOD are not sinful things.

They are good things that have taken the wrong place.

Even ministry can become a distraction if we are doing things for GOD while neglecting time with GOD.

Martha wasn't far from JESUS physically.

He was right in her house.

But her heart was somewhere else.

Mary sat at JESUS' feet.

To "sit at the feet of JESUS" is a biblical metaphor for prioritising a posture of devotion, active listening, and humility.

Rooted in ancient discipleship, it means slowing down to absorb his teachings, rest in his presence, and honour HIM as a teacher and Lord.

Mary was saying "JESUS, before I do anything for you, I want to know you."

She understood something Martha forgot.

The greatest gift we can give JESUS is not business or productivity but it is our presence.

May we all be reminded to be like Mary, even when we find ourselves being Martha sometimes - choosing to pause, sit at JESUS’ feet, listen to His Word, and remember that His presence is more important than our busyness.” 🙏🏽✨

Friendships are beautiful gifts from GOD, but they are not always meant to stay the same forever.

Some people are sent to walk with us for a lifetime, while others are sent to help us through a season.

Like Ruth and Orpah, both relationships were meaningful, but their journeys took different paths.

Ruth stayed, while Orpah chose to leave and both choices became part of GOD’s greater story.

Not every goodbye is a betrayal.
Not every distance means someone stopped caring.

Sometimes GOD separates people because HE is leading them into different chapters, different callings, and different growth.

We can honour the memories without forcing people to stay.

We can be grateful for those who walked with us before, and we can cherish those who choose to continue the journey with us.

The right people will not only celebrate your victories; they will also stand with you in your becoming.

Some friends are blessings for a season.

Some are blessings for a lifetime.

Both are still blessings.

✨ GOD’s timing may not make sense in the waiting, but when HE moves, HE reminds you why you had to trust HIM. What feels empty today can overflow tomorrow.

Keep believing.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
HIS provision is always right on time. 🙏🤍

Not everyone will celebrate your growth. Some only love the version of you that always said “yes,” never set boundaries, and never challenged them.

But growth requires wisdom, and wisdom sometimes says “no.”

JESUS Himself didn’t please everyone, and neither should we.

We are called to love people, not to live for their approval.

If someone walks away because you chose obedience to GOD over people-pleasing, let them.

I’d rather disappoint people than compromise my convictions.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? … If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

Choose CHRIST.
Choose truth.
Choose healthy boundaries. ❤️✝️
