And that concludes our Christmas lights hunting for 2026.

It has been a tradition over the years to take the kids driving around checking out beautiful light displays.

It's priceless to see the joy in our kids eyes and it makes our hearts so full.

We also appreciate the generous people who are putting up all their beautiful Christmas displays for us to enjoy.

Merry Christmas everyone!! We hope you enjoy your time with family and friends.

We've been quiet because we've had no movement over this past fortnight. 🥲

Wet area tiling was meant to start last week but got delayed due to the tiler.

Then, they were going to start last Monday but got caught up with another job they had to go back to this week.

I guess we really can't blame them. The weather is nuts and we find that it might not actually be safe for them work when there's heat wave.

The only silverlining this week is that, we got our stone upgraded due to our previously selected one being out of stock.

Hopefully it gets installed this coming week and get the tiling completed so we can move to painting. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

After being invited to do our Santa photos , the girls kept asking to come back to see him with Mrs Claus so we booked in another session. 😁😁

We still sadly missed out on Mrs Claus as she flew back to North Pole earlier than expected.

The girls were understandably disappointed, but were still happy to see Santa again.

We're going to have to try again next year! 🎅🏻🤶🧑‍🎄🎄
