Underground of the Arena of Spartacus in Capua. I spoke about this on the latest episode of the Wood Fired Oven 🎧🎙️podcast. I visited this the following day after visiting Caiazzo, on my way back to Rome. I recorded the water dripping from the floor of the arena.

Spartacus trained on this ground and led a rebellion against Rome. This is living history. It’s quite something to see, to feel and to be present with.

I also had the privilege of meeting , one of the world’s greatest pizza chefs as well.
