Chasing waterfalls on the Fleurieu ✨

Ingalalla Falls is one of SA’s sweetest little nature escapes - peaceful forest vibes, a super easy walk, and the sound of water echoing through the gums. We really enjoyed getting inland for a while and enjoying the bush. 🌲💧

📍 Location: Ingalalla Falls, Hay Flat Road, Second Valley - just 10 minutes from Normanville on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

• Short + easy 250–750m walk from the car park
• 20–40 min return, accessible for most walkers
• Set in Second Valley Forest Reserve
• Picnic tables, toilets
• Best after rain

🔥We’re hanging out with two absolute legends … our mates Laurie & Ray, at the Rapid Bay campground.

Because let’s be honest… it’s not just the places you go, it’s the friends you hang out with along the way. 🤍⛺️

They take us on an epic day trip through Deep Creek National Park & the Fleurieu Peninsula… finishing at a lookout with jaw-dropping views, local gin in hand. I mean… what a combo. 😍🌿🍸
And the banter? Off. The. Charts.

Can you ever have too much campsite chaos with your buddies? We test that theory. 😆

NEW EPISODE HAS DROPPED!!! 🚨
RAPID BAY Beachfront camping, Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia 🌊⛺️

🌅 Rapid Bay… the place that surprised us in all the best ways.
We rolled in expecting a quick stop …. but the cliffs, the water, the jetty, the beach… the beachfront camping …. they pulled us right in.

But the real magic ? ….

The day trips. Every one of them took the whole week to another level.

Hidden beaches, coastal towns, the national park 4x4 drive, the wildlife, the walks and some seriously memorable camp-chat nights.
It turned into one of those weeks you don’t plan… but are so glad you stayed for. 🤍🌊

⛱️Looking for a hidden beach gem on Kangaroo Island? 🌊✨

Snellings Beach is your spot with its golden sand, cliffs that drop into the ocean, and zero crowds, just 12 to 15 minutes from Stokes Bay, where we were camped.

You can even drive a 4x4 right onto the beach, and bring Queenslanders - that made us feel right at home.

We heated up some pasta for our picnic, Pete tried his luck fishing (no luck 😅, but plenty of fun!), and Tan drew a giant mandala in the sand, leaving it for the tide to wash away.

Perfect for a chill afternoon - made the most of the overcast weather! For those that know us … we’re always a glass half full kind of vibe!
