Someone said to us the other day, “Wow… you’re actually real people.”

We laughed, but it reminded us how many people think building an online business means being glued to your phone, constantly selling, or missing real life.

For us, it’s been the complete opposite.
We built this during nap times, school hours, and evenings after the kids went to bed.
Now, we get to be more present in the hours that actually matter.

Someone once told us, “You can always make more money, but you’ll never get the time back.”
At the time, we didn’t really get it. We were just trying to survive our shifts, get through the week, and squeeze in moments with our kids whenever we could.

But looking back, it’s true.
Time is the one thing you can’t earn back.

We used to tell ourselves that things would slow down after this week or after this roster, but it never did. Until we made the choice to change it.

Now our work fits around our life, not the other way around.
We still work hard, but we get to decide when.
We still provide for our family, but we don’t miss the moments that matter most.

Yesterday someone said, “Wow… you’re actually real people.”

It made us smile, because we get it. Online can feel fake or ick sometimes.

Maybe you’ve been wondering if this is working.
If all the time, energy, and effort is actually leading somewhere.

There’s a strange moment in growth where the old version of you starts to fade and it’s uncomfortable.

You’ll notice you don’t enjoy the same conversations, the same habits, or even the same people.

You’ll question yourself.
You’ll wonder if you’re being too much.

But here’s the truth, you’re not being too much.
You’re just finally not being less.

You’re becoming the person who fits the vision you’ve been dreaming about.
And yes, that version of you might make others uncomfortable, but it will set you free.

Decided to make a sandpit for the kids today… and wow, why didn’t I do this sooner?

Sometimes the best memories don’t come from big expensive trips or fancy toys, but from something as simple as playing in the sand in your own backyard.

The smiles, the laughter, the endless imagination totally worth the effort.

It’s a good reminder that our kids don’t care about how much we spend, they care about how much time we give.

There’s a story about a man who spent years digging for gold.
Day after day, he worked the mine… breaking rocks, sweating through the heat, and pushing through exhaustion.

After years with no results, he gave up.
He sold his claim to another man, feeling defeated and convinced there was nothing there.

The new owner kept digging.
Just three feet later, he struck one of the biggest gold veins ever discovered.

The first man didn’t fail because he lacked effort.
He failed because he gave up too soon.

And that’s the lesson for all of us.
Most people quit right before their breakthrough.
Success, freedom, health whatever it is you’re chasing could be just around the corner.

Patience is one of the hardest lessons we've had to learn.
We live in a world where we want everything fast, quick fixes, instant results, overnight success.

But the truth is… the best things take time.
Raising a family, building a business, changing your health, creating freedom, none of it happens in a day.

It’s about showing up consistently, even when you can’t see the results straight away.
Because patience isn’t just about waiting… it’s about trusting the process and knowing that every small step is getting you closer.
