🇵🇬 THE PNG GOVERNMENT, PLEASE ENABLE FACEBOOK MONETIZATION IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA 🇵🇬
Dear Government of Papua New Guinea, Members of Parliament, and relevant authorities,
We respectfully appeal to our leaders to support the enabling of Facebook Monetization in Papua New Guinea. Thousands of Papua New Guineans are creating original content every day, promoting our culture, businesses, tourism, music, sports, and communities to the world. Yet many hardworking creators are unable to access the same opportunities that creators in other countries enjoy.
Facebook Monetization would create a new digital economy for Papua New Guinea. It would provide opportunities for young people, entrepreneurs, content creators, photographers, musicians, artists, comedians, and small businesses to earn income through their creativity and hard work.
Many Papua New Guineans spend countless hours producing quality videos and content that attract thousands and even millions of views. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, creators in PNG are still limited because Facebook's monetization programs are not fully available in our country.
Enabling Facebook Monetization would:
✅ Create employment opportunities for young Papua New Guineans.
✅ Encourage creativity and innovation.
✅ Support small businesses and entrepreneurs.
✅ Promote PNG culture, tourism, and traditions worldwide.
✅ Reduce unemployment and provide alternative sources of income.
✅ Help build a stronger digital economy.
Our neighboring countries and many nations around the world are already benefiting from digital platforms. Papua New Guinea should not be left behind. We believe our creators deserve equal opportunities to grow, compete, and contribute to the nation's development.
We humbly ask the PNG Government, relevant ministries, financial institutions, and telecommunications authorities to work together with Meta to make Facebook Monetization fully accessible in Papua New Guinea.
The future is digital, and Papua New Guinea has talented and hardworking people ready to embrace it.
Let's empower PNG creators.
Let's create opportunities for our youth.
Let's strengthen our digital economy.
Let's showcase Papua New Guinea to the world.
