: A teenager has been charged with allegedly possessing violent extremist material and promoting it online after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reported an Australian user posting content advocating violence and referencing terrorist attacks online.

The 18-year-old allegedly used multiple social media channels to share content and statements supporting violence against people of Muslim, Jewish and migrant backgrounds.

He is expected to face court today.

AI will help manage traffic on two major Brisbane roads from next year, as part of a six-month trial.

The technology will be installed at 37 intersections across Logan Road and Kelvin Grove Road.

It will measure traffic volume and queue lengths in real time, using that data to calculate the best light sequence.
