I've now got a tribute up for Digga on the website, which I have requested the web developer to resize the text to suit and fit nicely as a permanent tribute plaque separate to the theme content text. Hopefully should be sorted in the next day or 2.

Hey everyone,

After losing Digga, I ended up in hospital unexpectedly for surgery. I’m recovering now and should be tomorrow.

I’ve seen a few orders come through that I haven’t been able to respond to while away from the office — thanks for your patience and understanding. I’ll be catching up on everything once I’m back.

Diggy’s Records will continue on — proudly in honour of Digga.
While things may be a little quiet for a short while as I take some time to regroup, the store will keep moving forward just as it was always meant to.

This store was built from love, loyalty, and the bond I shared with Digga, and that spirit will carry on through everything I do here.

💔 It is with the heaviest of hearts that I had to say goodbye to my best mate and soulmate, Digga, today. 💔

He passed away peacefully this evening in ICU at the emergency hospital. The staff there truly loved him and did everything they could to help him pull through.

I spent a few hours with him this afternoon — I laid beside him, cuddled him, and kept my hand on his chest. Before he passed, the ICU nurse told me he even moved his tail when I was there, just to acknowledge me. ❤️

Digga came into my life when I needed him most. I got him at 8 weeks old in February 2014, not long after I got out of the army in late 2013. He saved me during one of the hardest chapters of my life and has been by my side ever since — through everything.

He fought so bravely these past few days, but after suffering a seizure and losing blood pressure, glucose, and overall function, his body just couldn’t fight any longer.

He was more than just my dog — he was my family, my shadow, and my reason for so much of what I do. He’ll always be with me. 🐾

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out or sent kind words — it’s meant more than I can say. Please keep Digga in your thoughts as he rests peacefully now. 🌈🐶

💔 Update on Digga 💔

Digga from Diggy’s Records has been in ICU Emergency since Sunday evening after suffering from heat exhaustion and collapsing on the way back from a walk late Sunday afternoon/evening. It was quite humid, and although I’d planned a shorter walk, he was determined to go a fair bit further. He had only just healed from right paw surgery and had recently been on prolonged antibiotics from that procedure.

He’s currently stable but still in a critical condition. There’s a lot of healing to do, and it’s still touch and go — 50/50 at this stage. Even if he pulls through, it’s uncertain what his recovery and long-term function will look like.

He’ll be 12 in January, so he’s a senior boy now — but anyone who knows Digga knows he’s got a huge heart and a strong spirit. ❤️ I know he’s fighting this. Please keep him in your thoughts — sometimes miracles really do happen. 🐾

While Digga’s recovering, I’ll be a bit slower with content posting and email responses. Orders will still be shipped, but please allow a few extra days for processing as I balance things around his situation.

🛠️ Listing Update – KISS Unmasked 🛠️

A store customer has reached out to let me know that the Unmasked listing images mistakenly showed Eric Carr instead of Peter Criss.

I’ve now rectified the issue — all albums in stock feature the original 1980 artwork with Peter Criss, as per the official release.

Interestingly, although Peter appears on the cover, he didn’t actually play on the album — the drum parts were recorded by session drummer Anton Fig. Later on, some reprints and fan edits swapped in Eric Carr, who joined the band soon after the album’s release, which is where the mix-up comes from.

Sensationally Splendid!

Has been on repeat non-stop lately — best metal album in years! A real metal return!

Managed to order in 3 more brand new copies of the aqua blue vinyl, due mid–late November — so there’ll be 6 copies in total soon, with the next batch hopefully landing any day now!
