🏆🙋‍♀️ Leigh Evans - Chief Flag Marshall, Race Control, Sector Marshall 🏁🏕

Leigh is from a prominent motorsport family and has made a name for herself trackside at all levels of motorsport from grassroots to Supercars. Recently she was in Race Control and the Chief Flag Marshall at the Historic Racing Car Club Qld TTT weekend at Morgan Park. Leigh has been travelling Australia with her parents and partner for many years volunteering in numerous roles. Bathurst 1000, Supercars, Bathurst 12 Hour, SuperSprints, State Championships, ChallengeBathurst, Mt Cotton Hillclimb are just some of the events Leigh has attended in her travels and local to home.

Leigh is a Silver Licence holder and has been honoured with awards such as QRDA Families in Motorsport Award (presented to Leigh, her mother (Judy) and father (David)), 2013 Track Official of the Event at SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Rockie of the Event 2014 Sydney 500 in the role of Trainee Sector Marshall.

What a great year! I've enjoyed Chairing the Inter-Club Challenge Queensland and making it the competition I was dedicated to competing in this year. Proud of my little Eddie, 2017 MINI Cooper 1.5L turbo, she's not the toughest and she might have two more doors than a typical racer should but she gets out there and does her best!! 🚗💨🏆🦸‍♀️🌸

Supercars Best Volunteer Group 2023 👏👏

Congratulations to the Gold Coast 500 team who were awarded the Supercars Best Volunteer Group for 2023 👏

This award was accepted at the Adelaide 500 by our new CEO Sunil Vohra and Supercars Recovery team member Brad Moras, who was part of the Gold Coast event.

All first time volunteers at Challenge Bathurst receive a complementary V8 hot lap with Fastrack Experiences . My driver was Aaron McGill and to say I enjoyed the ride is an understatement clearly lol 🚗💨⛰😁🥳

Paul Clemens, along with a handful of other volunteers who have been helping with Challenge Bathurst, have stayed on at Bathurst to assist with the V8 driving experiences.

This is Paul's check in for today: "At post 3 today just before the cutting as a flag marshall for the 20 plus Fastrack Experiences cars for both customer drives and customer rides. It’s great to watch customer drives as we get a good idea of their Motorsport experience- some very quick and they clearly have driven these cars, and some are first timers getting great advice from their drive coaches. For the passenger ride sessions they are just all “very quick. John Bowe is the driver for passengers in the #9 THERMAXX Mustang, and he has lots of customers wanting to sit beside him…
