Goodbye 2025 (and Goodbye to Stranger Things). Have loved this show for lots of reasons but feel it will become timeless for its musical score more than anything else. Not only has it re-introduced iconic songs like master of puppets and artists like Kate Bush and The Clash but also the wonders of the synth. When I first saw season 1 I was so impressed by the music, the synth made the show feel alive. Who else thinks this show will be remembered for the music?

Happy 2026 everyone … now off to watch Stranger Things finale!!

3 - 2 - 1 - 🎄 it’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas 🎄

Wishing everyone a Merry Xmas and a safe and healthy new year.

Thanks to everyone for still following this page as I know it has been a very quiet year with not many new reels / videos to share with you. I do have exciting news though as I have spent a long time working with my mentor Simon Gardner Guitarist finishing 2 new songs that are very special to me so will be working on finalising and releasing those in the New Year. Still not sure on the titles for the songs but perhaps think they will be called DKA and Check-Out.

In the meantime it seems fitting to share some Ozzy Osbourne vibes.

Photo 1: me pre-diagnosis with all the symptoms that should have flagged T1 diabetes (weight loss despite extreme hunger, nausea, fatigue, blurred vision, constant thirst, irritabile, headaches, fruity breath that even Eddie was telling us was funky) but my T1 was still missed by ALL the health professionals we bounced between.

Photo 2: me post-diagnosis with an insulin pump and CGM. It’s so important for everyone to know the signs of T1 as it is often missed and initially mistaken for something else.

November is world diabetes awareness month and today is world diabetes day. 14th Nov marks the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting who co-discovered insulin with Charles Best in 1921. Without insulin T1 diabetics would not survive. Insulin, whilst not a cure, is life-saving for T1s.
