Mum opened the ottoman.

I thought she’d finally built me a private Staffy headquarters.

Room for toys.
Room for snacks.
Room for important meetings.

Then she started putting blankets in it.

She just ruins everything. 😒🐾

Mum said this is called “impulse control.”

I call it emotional damage.

The treat was placed directly on my nose and apparently I was expected to just… stare at it.

I would like everyone to know that I remained professional throughout this highly stressful situation.

The treat was eventually secured.

Justice was served.

The face of a dog who has just heard the most ridiculous thing ever spoken.

“No cheese.”

Interesting.

Because I distinctly heard the fridge open.

I also heard a wrapper.

And I am pretty sure I smelled cheddar from three suburbs away.

I will now be conducting a full investigation.

Charlie’s Backyard Bird Report 🐦

I was enjoying a perfectly peaceful afternoon when a bird landed in my yard.

Naturally, I stopped everything.

No barking.
No moving.
Just intense Staffy concentration.

For the last 20 minutes I’ve been carefully monitoring its activities from a safe distance.

The bird appears unaware that it is currently under professional surveillance.

I’ll continue the investigation and provide updates if anything suspicious happens.

So far, it has mostly been birding. 👀🐾
