An amalgamation of many cathartic thoughts and nightmares. Crossing boundaries of grindcore, doom metal, black metal and the avant-garde to create something wholly unique and unsettling. Let the walls of sound transport you through a journey of loss, madness and catharsis. Whatever horrors life casts into ones path, this project is a reply to it, whether it be personal pain, spiritual or physical, whether political dread or the numbness of loss, traumatic memories or feeling scarred within, this project is a reply to that pain.
Recorded in 2024 - 2025 in a few sessions of improvisations and little planning, the walls of sound within this piece were left intentionally raw, primarily driven by bass instruments and howling vocals seeped with the horrors of grief, regret and bitter pain. Stealing the fast pace of grindcore, the abrasive sound of blackened metal and the low tuning and themes of doom, the first release of this new project encapsulates only the beginning of a journey all wounded souls would take on their path to healing. TERMINUS is a reply to agony, an answer to feeling completely lost in a world that silently screams with madness, something more than just music, an artistic experiment, expression and release.
