Maintenance day for the old MacBook Pros 💻

New battery (I’m surprised the old one hadn’t exploded yet, it was so swollen!) and a fresh install of the OS for the 2015 15” MBP which has been with me for ten years and is still going strong, just not as my main machine any more. Good to see it taking its original shape again after removing the old battery…

And a general clean out of the 13” 2014 MBP which was a Facebook Marketplace bargain a couple of years ago.

It’s what days off in Wales are made for…

It was no less spectacular tonight, with !!

What a stunning setting for a festival.

Cheers to the lads for looking after us today with a .official Quantum 338 Pulse, and PSM1000 systems. Glad I could bring a Konduktor in with us for some lovely 3D mixing action.

It would be good to stay in Spain a while longer, but alas, it’s back to London tomorrow for a few days off.

What an absolutely epic sold out show at with ! Stadium shows are so much fun!

It’s so good working with such an awesome band and crew. Doesn’t feel like work at all. I’m just lucky enough to get paid to hang out with a brilliant bunch of people, doing shows in some cool places.

I’m also lucky that my job is made so easy in monitor world thanks to the outstanding efforts of Mr . Us engineers couldn’t do our thing without having great techs to help us out. And Will is most definitely a great tech!

I’m going to bed happy tonight - will I still be happy in a few hours at my 5:45AM lobby call to catch a flight to London ? We shall see…

Just trying to get ahead of the game here -

I am available for touring from mid November 2025 into next year.

It would be great to get some work locked in so I can at least know there is hope for the future, when I finish my current tours.

I will bring a pair of golden ears, a smile, and a “can do, in a bit, probably” attitude.

Kindly hit me up if anyone hears of anything that would suit such a fella as myself.

A bit cosy at Stage Left today with monitors, playback, and one of our comrades from the Backline department all trying to fit in the world’s smallest cow shed at in Halifax. A lovely venue.

Great show, as always with the fine fellas , even in the rain…

Now off to Liverpool for a couple of days at .co.uk with audio tech extraordinaire, , prepping the kit for next week’s stadium show in Limerick, and also prepping a B system to go to Glasgow for TRNSMT festival.

Lovely show in Cardiff with a nice new .official Quantum338 Pulse to replace the one which was feeling a bit sick yesterday, which is now going for a little TLC to make it feel better in a few days.

Good to bump into a couple of old friends, too.

Now for a day off in Cardiff, then… GLASTONBURY!
