An airport lounge experience - without points or membership! ✈️
I've never travelled enough to have access to fancy lounges, but recently got the chance to check one out at Brisbane International Airport! 😍 It's called Escape Lounge, and if you book online it's only $55 for 3 hours of unlimited food, drink, comfy lounge space, wifi, and charging hubs. With a late 11pm flight I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we walked in, we got given our own little table, and the food was being replenished regularly.
We had the dinner menu which included chilli con carne, Moroccan vege tagine, macaroni alfredo, minestrone soup with bread rolls, grilled vege penne, salads, sandwiches, cheeses, fruits, and baked goods. The food itself was nothing to write home about but definitely kept me (And Nixon 🤭) busy for awhile! And admittedly I ate about 10 bread rolls and 20 butters. 😂
Make sure you book online as walk in rates are $80pp (and could be booked out) Overall a nice relaxing pre-flight experience with friendly service and comfort.
