interview @ 5PM ☆
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Show Me The Body’s frontman, Julian Pratt, to discuss their upcoming album, Alone Together, out this Friday.
We explored the philosophy of radical love and praxis at the heart of the record, the New York hardcore scene that shaped Show Me The Body’s ethos, and the evolution of .nyc into a community organisation grounded in mutual aid and collective care. Reflecting on fatherhood, grief and loss, Julian spoke candidly about how these experiences transformed both the meaning of the record and his outlook on love and life itself.
There is power in finding clarity through vulnerability, in carrying people with you after they’re gone, and in creating something beautiful in remembrance.
Thank you to Julian for such an open, thoughtful and generous conversation. Listen live at 5PM AEST on 102.1FM or online @ 4zzz.org.au
