Whilst the Hammer and the boys have a weekend off to cool their heels, their Redcliffe Dolphins brothers will run out on Sunday afternoon at Kayo Stadium against the Burleigh Bears hoping to avenge last season's Prelim Final late loss, one win away from the Hostplus Cup Grand final. There are 8 additions to Dave Elliot's team, including Jake Averillo and Brian Pouniu, whilst Kristan Woolf's nephew, Brent Woolf, makes his 50th appearance.
Kick off at Kayo is 2.10pm on Sunday.

⛪🏫 A new special school is still coming to Kallangur — but the church already standing on the site is staying too.

Earlier plans would have seen Pine Rivers Uniting Church demolished to make way for the school. Now, the proposal has been changed so the church can remain while the new school goes ahead on the Narangba Road site.

Exactly how the two will fit together is still being worked out.

Then Burleigh beat them again in the opening round of 2026.

Now, after an entire season, the road has led the Redcliffe Dolphins straight back to the Bears — this time at Kayo Stadium, with a Grand Final place on the line.
