Thinking of everyone battling mental health struggles. You are not alone. Behind every smile, there may be pain or quiet battles we can’t see. May we choose to respond with patience, extend grace freely, and love like Jesus 🩶 May we all choose kindness every day. Remember that we can never take back hurtful words we've already said.

October is an awareness month many don’t hear about until it happens to them or someone they love. Pregnancy loss is one of the most painful human experiences. 🕊️❤️‍🩹

As someone who has been through it, I still carry questions I’ll never get the answers to: Why? Why me? Why us? How could my body betray me like this? What did I do wrong? What did I fail to do?

This calls us to be kinder and better humans, to hold space for those who are grieving, to recognise that pregnancy loss is real loss, real death, and that this pain changes someone forever.

To anyone navigating this path: What you feel is real. Who you lost is irreplaceable. What you’ve endured is unimaginable and yet you are still here and for that, you deserve a big hug. 🫂

If you’ve been part of my journey since 2018, you’ve seen it all — the highs, the quiet seasons, the Q&A’s, my first book, the podcast that didn’t happen because life happened, all of it!! Today, I am overflowing with joy. I get to share this with all of you and I consider it a blessing. 🥹

If you’re like me and have walked through seasons of heartbreak, here’s my timeline of waiting and hoping:

Got engaged at 29 only to be heartbroken at 30.

Moved to another country at 31.

Met my husband at 32 (rejected him a few times haha!) and became official at 33.

Pregnant at 34.

Lost our baby at 34.

Engaged (again) and married at 34.

God’s timing is always, always perfect. Too perfect! To everyone who believed in love for me when I couldn’t, thank you. God really does make all things beautiful in His time and turns things for your good. I tell you this, don’t ever stop praying. Don’t be afraid to pray prayers that might take away things from you because those prayers will make you braver, stronger, more loving and closer to Jesus. When you have Him, everything else is just a bonus. 🤍
