Working as a Contractor has it's advantages and disadvantages.

One of the advantages is flexibility and setting your own work times and hours. And being a workaholic this works really well for me. I can spend hours helping to build a Clients business, what it grow, invest my heart and soul into it and be proud of where it's heading. I get to learn new skills and meet amazing new people.

The downside is having no control over what the Client will do with that business. Especially when they decide to sell without warning 😔

Having something you work so hard at, stay up late working on, learn, invest implicitly in, and watch grow, only to have it ripped away from you is heart breaking.

I know it's not my business.

I know I'm only a part of the bigger picture.

But it's still feels like everything you've done is for nothing. No appreciation. No thanks for everything you did. Nothing.

It feels like I've lost a part of me.

I know there's a new projects around the corner for me, but it times like these I want to pack it all in.

I won't though.

I'll have my pity party and wait for the next project to come along.

Who knows, maybe there is a new avenue for me to explore.

Sometime the simplist of designs can be the most effective.

I designed this for a Disability Support Provider I worked closely with and received some great compliments from it. 🙂
