This is the photo that started it all. 🌊🐢

I’d been wanting to create something where I could start recording and showcasing my culture, my connection to Country, and the adventures that come with being outdoors.

Fishing, camping, the ocean, the bush, wildlife, family, stories, culture — all of it.

And then this moment happened.

There was something really special about it. Just being there, in the water, with a turtle right beside me — it felt like one of those moments you don’t plan, you just experience.

Looking back now, this photo represents exactly why I wanted to start LORE.

A place to capture the adventures, share the stories, showcase culture and Country, and hopefully pass some of that knowledge and connection on.

LORE can mean a lot of things.

Land. Ocean. Resilience. Expression.
Land. Origin. Respect. Elders.

But more than anything, it’s about where we come from, what we experience, and the stories we carry with us.

This was the moment that helped bring it all together.

This is the photo that started it all.

🌿 THERE’S A WHOLE WORLD IN THE DETAILS. 🐞

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to find something deadly.

Slow down. Look closer.

The colours, textures, patterns and little creatures living all around us are unreal — most of it we walk straight past without ever noticing.

That’s what LORE is about.

Getting outside.
Being curious.
Seeing Country differently.
Learning from what’s around us.
And sharing the outdoors our way.

From the land, to the ocean, and everything living in between.

What’s everyone using for their packs? 🎒

I’ve had this pack for over 6 years, and it’s been put through just about everything — bush, mud, rain, work, camping, long walks, heavy loads and plenty of rough treatment.

It definitely hasn’t been babied.

So I’m going to do a proper long-term LORE pack review on it — what’s held up, what hasn’t, comfort, storage, durability and whether I’d still recommend it after all these years.

I’m keen to see what everyone else is running too.

Sun came up strong this morning…
reminds me how powerful a fresh start can be.
No matter what yesterday looked like —
today’s a new chance to reset, refocus, and go again.
Grateful for moments like this…
quiet water, golden light, and a clear mind.
