3/3 Finished our Blue Mountains adventure with the Scenic Railway 🚞

Known as one of the steepest passenger railways in the world, with a gradient of up to 52°, it was originally built to carry coal and shale from the Jamison Valley in the late 1800s.

Today, it’s a thrilling ride through the rainforest — steep, scenic, and unforgettable 🌿😄

At the bottom, we were rewarded with a perfect view of the Three Sisters — such a beautiful way to end the day 🏞️💙

It was a really nice experience being surrounded by rainforest and waterfalls, even with the rain ☔
We didn’t make it all the way to the old mine because of the weather, but the misty views made the walk feel extra magical ✨

Rode the Scenic Skyway and walked along Prince Henry Cliff. We didn’t expect 14°C in “summer” — so chilly! 🥶
The clouds teased us, but we had a few magical minutes of clear views beneath the cliff 🌫️➡️🏞️
