‘Many Hands Make’...

An ode to the Diffuszed community and Fundraiser for our humble studio on

Saturday the 10th of February 2024.

Put on your gloves and strap in for a full day celebration handpicked from the diverse community of DJs, musicians, performers, and creative crews at the cornerstone of Diffuszed Studios.

In a little over 3 years (at our current location), Diffuszed Studios has grown into a flourishing hub of artistry, hand woven with the intention to provide an affordable space to rehearse, a professional production rig to tighten fat tunes, an access point to learn new skills, and an alternative event hub for new ideas to flourish and open arms to any community wanting to get involved.

Hand over heart, we couldn’t have weathered the pandemic storm without every single person that has walked down our hall, up the stairs, and into the Diffuszed Studios Haven, so… Thank you!

While it’s been amazing to see so much positive support for our humble studio, we want to remain true to our policy of transparency and be vulnerable in saying that: Operating a BYOB venue, music studio, and community hub, with a sole focus on all things creative is… HARD! Although Diffuszed Studios is not at any risk of closing our doors, we do find ourselves in a position where upgrades to equipment and infrastructure, required to ensure the longevity of Diffuszed, are just outside our reach…

But make no mistake… This is NO HANDOUT… it’s an opportunity to give the crews and creatives that have made Diffuszed what it is today, the round of applause they truly deserve, and a chance to palm off the organiser hat and throw-down like we know they will!

Following the event, we will provide an update on the funds raised and the transparent allocation of expenditures to keep our community informed.

🔊 **Artist Spotlight: Christian Kerr** 🔊

Christian Kerr, one of the co-founders of OUTRA is a passionate DJ who breathes his love and passion for music into every performance. His sets are a tapestry of tech, prog, techno and minimal, intricately woven and infused with percussive tribal elements and ethnic soundscapes.
A mainstay in the Brisbane scene, he has been and continues to be heavily involved in the underground music community as both an artist and event organiser, previously involved in iconic Brisbane brands MELT, Open Sundays and Dragonfruit. 2023 saw the launch of OUTRA a new house and techno brand of which Christian is a co-founder.
Christian has performed at prestigious events and festivals such as Earth Frequency, Elements, Pure, Lemon & Lime, LGM and S.A.S.H.
He has played alongside international artists Tim Engelhardt, Tim Green, Gorge, Rossko, Yokoo, Dousk, Hector, Pawsa, Kink, Atish, Space 92, Stefano Noferini and Joseph Capriati to name a few.

🔊 **Artist Spotlight: Das Boot** 🔊

Das Boot is an upcoming artist who has played her debut at the Space Misheen party series run by DJ Smish (Michelle Ellero) and at the Wizards of Kingston Spring Campout in July 2023.

Born and raised in the inner city environments of western Germany, Das Boot’s interest in dark techno sounds first developed, and only grew stronger upon discovery of the Australian underground scene.

Utilising works of local and international producers, Das Boot is aiming to deliver deep, driving sounds synthesised with psychedelic techno influences.

Finally emerging from the studio after many years of persistence, Audible thought has successfully caught the attention of the Psy-techno scene in the first half of 2023.Encapsulating a love of deep, driving basslines, complex sonic pallets, rich atmospheres and evolving sound design to create a unique breed of minimal psy-tech, born out of Australia’s' central QLD.

Consciously aiming to balance the light with the dark, Audible Thought combines groove driven, dancefloor filling tracks with ethereal melodic elements that take the listener on a journey of the senses.
