The Other ‘Heavy Weight’ Champions

The Abbey Medieval Festival has recently released the official photos from the events and I’d like to thank all the photographers for capturing those memorable moments with those big heavy camera and bulky bags, while the re-enactors were enjoying their moments!

I’ve been meaning to make some drawings relating to the event this year, but alas, i got caught up with my Napoleonic era project…but it’ll be corrected soon, since I’d love to share my experience at the re-enactment events with you all.

One of my highlights from this years Abbey Medieval Festival. Just happened to be walking past at the right moment. Turns out it was a surprise engagement proposal. The laughter and tears were amazing. She said yes!

Rainy weekend with the reenactment season gearing up. Last years rain was a bit much, but did add to the photos!

Was chosen on my local Buy Nothing Project group to receive the most amazing gift today. Two old albums with photos from the Buffalo NY area. Oldest photo I spotted was 1860’s aged, most seem to be 1880’s. I’ll share some as I get time.
