Was chosen on my local Buy Nothing Project group to receive the most amazing gift today. Two old albums with photos from the Buffalo NY area. Oldest photo I spotted was 1860’s aged, most seem to be 1880’s. I’ll share some as I get time.

When you’re there at just the right time. You can bet we watched the tray like hawks until they were placed in the case.

A few nights ago we went to Wivenhoe lookout. Took a little longer than we expected to spot the comet, but once we knew where it was with binoculars, it was visible to the naked eye. Facebook compression doesn't help. My dark sky photography has a lot of progress to make, and I'll leave the astrophotography to the ones with tracking telescopes and cooled sensors. Taken an hour after sunset, 30 second exposure, 10 second shutter release, tripod mounted.
