7 days since hospitalisation. 3 weeks without Venlafaxine in my system. 4 weeks with Valdoxin on board.
7 days ago I sat with an incredible Woman in a secure facility and she told me a story. She set the scenario and asked me to hear her out. I could have sworn we were talking about why I wanted to end my life, but ok go ahead Love, tell me a story we got time.
A stranger walks into your home, it's day one. The stranger is causing chaos and the first week is a shambles. There is unrest, uncertainty, unfathomable upheaval, and you don't like the look of them one bit.
It's the end of week two, the stranger is still there. You're still watching and assessing this stranger, wondering what they're doing there. Are they there to hurt you? Kill you even? It's a tense situation, you have eyes on everything, every little change; was that them, was that for the good, am I about to regret letting this stranger in?
End of week three, there's a settled environment there is calm. You are now at ease with the stranger they've even offered to help out around the place. They're cleaning up after themselves. They don't make much mess to begin with.
Week four shows you relaxing around the stranger now. There's even a sort of harmony. They come and go but you aren't afraid of them anymore. You are coexisting and getting along ok.
Week five is a surprise, you went to the shops and didn't even lock the door as you left. The stranger doesn't steal anything from you, in fact you come home to a completely clean home. They're waiting there to ask you about your day.
Week six you return home each night and there is a home cooked meal upon the table, the stranger is just waiting to talk with you and you are both at ease and happy in each other's presence. The cleaning is done before you're home and it's become the routine regular thing. The stranger is even helping out with other things around the place.
By the end of week seven you are familiar enough to allow the stranger to look after some of the more important jobs around the place, they're good at mending things and have taken to fixing little side projects that you've been unable to get to for years now.
Week eight shows no
