Congratulations to Griffin Lias, who was recently awarded a Sony FX2 camera through the Sony Cinema Line Career Accelerator Award!

This competition asked students to submit a video pitch and supporting business plan, outlining how they would best use the prize (made possible by our generous sponsor Sony Australia) in their future projects.

Our staff had a number of outstanding submissions to choose from, but couldn't go past Griffin's pitch to create a series of short videos around climate, environmental awareness and personal empowerment in an eye-catching claymation style!

We can't wait to see what you create, Griffin!

Congratulations to Katie Fiedler, who was recognised at our recent Awards Gala!

Katie was selected by our staff for outstanding work in the Colour Grading course, described as 'a high achiever with a demonstrated passion for colour'. Go Katie! 🎨🖥

Our wonderful sponsors at Crayon provided an award which sees Katie benefiting from a free one-day colour grading session for her next short-form project - what a great opportunity to work with (and learn from) such awesome local creatives!

This year at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, we are ecstatic work with some of the students from Griffith Film School! They will be putting their education into practice by being the official filming crew of the Ceremony 📽️

Attendees of the 18th Asia Pacific Screen Awards will see the team be on their game as they are given the opportunity to take a more active role in the region’s highest accolade in film and learn on the go. They will be capturing the most exciting moments of the night, including the moment when the winners hear their name called from the APSA stage. We are thrilled to be working with the students behind the scenes to bring you the Ceremony through their lens.

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy thanks Griffith Film School for being an Industry Partner for the 18th Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
