Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, this year is definitely a big one with it being the big 30… and to be honest I wasn’t really looking forward to it.

But I think this is something we learn, we get older and older we get the more we experience… the more we grow and the more we laugh.

I had a somber moment tonight, I was surrounded by people that I truly loved (unfortunately not everyone because we had some issues LOL)… but there is a lot of people that I wish were here tonight, people that I couldn’t even invite. It hurts. It hurts a lot because I know.

but I’ll keep pushing forward… and hope one day I’ll meet them again whether it be in this lifetime or another.

For the first time in my life, I actually feel like I’m dreading my birthday.

Was driving on the way to work this morning and I just had a bit of a dreaded thought, one filled with dread and one filled with sadness. I kind of get it now that people don’t like talking about their birthday. It’s just another thing that my arch nemesis called time put on us.

Whether it be the fact that this year is a big milestone, I’ve lost people that I was close with and I can’t celebrate with them, or that my time on this earth is less by the day. There’s a lot to think about.

I’m okay, truly. But I think it’s just something I wanted to share.
