With her debut album 'Skin' working wonders for her around 4 years ago (including a Mercury Prize nomination and top 5 charting position), it was always going to be all eyes on Joy for the follow up. 'Act Right' is the latest EP from Sasha: British/Colombian powerhouse who's signature vocals have such a profound impact. On A NEW JAZZ SOUL tonight we're diving into the debut album from Japan/Cairns-raised artist Ryo Montgomery. Going under the moniker OjiAji, Ryo has just released his debut 'Love & Company' via Hopestreet Recordings and man is it worth your time. 🎧🎙🔥

Having been a prolific session musician with his skills over many different projects including Kee'ahn , Tiana Khasi as well as being one third of the incredible soul crew Izy - I was super keen to hear more about his first foray into solo work.

So tonight: an interview with OjiAji! We talk about making the move from QLD to VIC, musical and personal influences, making key connections in the thriving Melbourne music scene and more.
