Vanuatu report from Darin Browne

Bill and the team headed to Port Vila, Vanuatu, for a series of what
would prove to be strategic meetings.

Over two nights they ministered in the largest open-air park still
functioning within the devastated city, seeing hundred of commitments
to Christ. Joining with local singing groups, and even the local police
academy graduates, many enjoyed Darin’s singing and heard strong,
evangelistic messages from Bill. For a city still recovering from earthquakes
and cyclones, this was an opportunity to bring joy and hope by clearly
proclaiming the message of the Gospel.

In addition, Bill, with Darin and Mick Cory had the opportunity to meet
with the President and later the Prime Minister of the country, discussing
how the Word of God and the Gospel message could impact their people
at this incredible moment of need. Bill encouraged both men to look to
Christ and maintain their integrity. Please pray for these national leaders,
both of whom are committed Christians.

And UCB Vanuatu’s Laef FM 102.5 attended the crusade and was involved in local promotions on the Laef FM christian radio service weeks leading up to the crusade with recorded promotional radio spots recorded by Bill Newman himself inviting locals to attend the crusade .

The people of Vanuatu need us. : Vanuatu struck by second earthquake in two days.

Vanuatu is now in a state of emergency after a 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit on Wednesday morning.

It follows yesterday's 7.3 quake which killed at least six people and destroyed buildings. Please pray for families whose lives have been turned upside down. Pray for frontline responders, bringing aid where it’s needed most. Every prayer spoken brings hope.

We just passed the half million dollar mark and are racking g towards $600,000 on our way towards Visions $1.75 Million dollar budget need for this fund raising appeal.

I sought the Lord, and He answered me Psalm 34:4 NIV ✝

Our Ambrym station was turned on recently and it shares our 102.5 FM frequency with our station in Port Vila. 📻

We are currently in negotiations with Vodafone, which if we are successful, will enable us to put on another radio station in Luganville.

Stay tuned and please pray with us! 🙏 We have plans to re-estalish our stations at Samaria (Tanna) and Hog Harbour (Espiritu Santo) as soon as we can get equipment and a technician to these sites. Again, please pray for the opportunity to get these stations back on air.
