sometimes progress looks like absolutely nothing… until one day you realise it wasn’t. 🥹

3 years of posting, wondering if this was actually going anywhere…

and here i am on a random Wednesday, eating my box of croissants and excited because i get to hand my mum a bag she likes, bought with money i earned from social media. 💖✨

not life-changing money.
not an overnight success story.

just a little piece of proof that all those ordinary days of showing up were adding up to something.

so if you’re in the part where you’re wondering whether your little idea is actually going anywhere…

maybe you don’t need proof that it’ll work yet.

maybe you just need to give it enough time to find out.

not because everyone is pretending to have it figured out. or, maybe they do but what does it matter to our own journey?

we usually see people after they’ve taken the step.

after they’ve learned.
adjusted.
changed their minds.
figured things out along the way.

we don’t always see the part where they started without feeling completely ready.

maybe that’s the part worth remembering.

you don’t have to know exactly how it will all work out.

sometimes you take the first step with what you know now, and adjust from there.

☑️ when work calms down.
☑️ when the house is sorted.
☑️ when there’s more money.
☑️ when you finally feel on top of everything.

then you’ll rest. then you’ll do the fun thing. then you’ll enjoy it.

except there’s always another thing to sort.

your life is already happening.

some of my little ideas actually worked.

not in a “quit your job and build an empire” kind of way. 😅

some made a little money.
some opened doors i wasn’t expecting.
some led me to the next idea.

and plenty went absolutely nowhere.

but that’s kind of the point.

i couldn’t have known which was which while they were all still sitting in my head.

not every idea needs to become a business.
not every hobby needs to become a side hustle.
not everything you start needs to become your forever thing.

sometimes you just have to give the idea a chance to show you what it could be.

because you can think about an idea for months…

but you can only learn what it’s capable of once you actually try it. 🤍

when life starts to feel a little too ordinary,
it’s easy to think nothing is changing.

but some of the most important progress happens quietly.

in the routines you keep showing up for.
in the small choices nobody sees.
in the things that don’t feel exciting enough to count.

that’s where deep roots grow.

not all progress is visible.
not all growth makes noise.

invisible progress is still progress.

the things that used to feel hard become routine.
the things you once hoped for become your normal.
the things that would’ve overwhelmed the old you… you just handle now.

maybe you’re not as stuck as you think.

maybe you just need to look back far enough to see how far you’ve actually come. 🤍
