While we grew up on a steady diet of Shiraz and Cabernet, the local wine scene has grown restless. We are trading the predictable for the “King of Grapes” and varietals that we could barely pronounce a decade ago

This is an absolute must-see in Brisbane.

Archie Moore's 'kith and kin' at Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art is a masterpiece. It's a huge, hand-drawn (in chalk) family tree that tells a 65,000-year story. And it won the Gold Lion at the 2024 Venice Biennale.

Brisbane's longest-running public market Riverside at the Gardens is
celebrating its 40th birthday this Sunday, 19 October!

It’s a massive fun day from 8 am to 3 pm in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. There’s live music, Brazilian dancers, puppet shows, face painting, and a balloon-twisting clown for the kids.

An airport hotel that’s actually
 fun? And stylish? Somehow Moxy Sydney Airport delivers on both counts

I checked in to see if all the hype was true. The rooms are clever (making excellent use of the snug space. I also tried an outstanding cheeseburger (which I'm officially declaring the new benchmark for hotel quality), and a lobby that's a cross between your favourite neighbourhood cafe and a bar

The Moxy Sydney Airport serves up much more than convenience.
