Laura left her corporate gig, the big money, and comfortable lifestyle to start giving back. Her mission is unparalleled and intentional, spearheaded by the goal of ending homelessness for women in Australia.

The effort to start a movement with ordinary goods to produce an extraordinary impact is mind-blowing. Laura and her team have worked hard to create ethically made bedding and become B Corp certified to further push their cause and pursue their mission.

Our second episode of Season 3 features

An environmental activist, dedicating her life to water conservation and protection. During her 9-5 she’s the CEO of Yarra Riverkeeper, whilst organizing cleaning initiatives through her Plastic Runner organisation.

What you see is what you get with Karin, she’s purpose-driven and the epitome of determination, nothing and no one will get in her way as she lives out her dream and purpose day in, day out.

By founding Plastic Runner, an initiative to stay healthy and fit while doing good to our planet, she was head hunted to take on a senior role within Yarra Riverkeepr Association and eventually becoming the CEO. A little cliché but that’s a perfect example of the saying; Fortune favours the brave.

We were blown away by her energy, mission and our lack of knowledge about the effects of neglecting the health of our rivers and oceans. Listen to her story on this episode and be sure to follow her journey on .

We launched Season 3 with the talented .

Leo was a bundle of joy, big energy, big voice and full of excitement, his enthusiasm about life is unmatched, hence his success and story to date. As we know the art of balancing a 9-5 with side projects can be challenging, while most have figured out how to strike a balance without compromising the dream. Leo has taken this to another level, he has developed an understanding of how his 9-5 benefits from his craft and vice versa. An equilibrium that many tend to spend years trying to find to ensure there isn't a constant battle of tug of war.
