2021 LP from Ron and his band, his last recordings before his sad passing in 2023.

With his band helmed by Cam Butler, his work from this period is a thundrous mix of dramaturgy and beautifully elegant and full-bodied songwriting, some of his finest work.

Do The Understanding is a brilliant swan song.

The last remaining copies of this awesome 2018 set from Ed Kuepper and his band, whose approach is caught somewhere between the aggro rock sounds of the the original Saints and the brassy post-punk of the Laughing Clowns.

What a great netherworld to inhabit!

Brand new LP for 2026 from these Melbourne stoner/psych titans

A bit of a musical tribute to our NZ cousins, it also features covers of tunes by Toy Love and Human Instinct, and even comes with a pair of 3-D glasses for the cover.

A total blast.

FANTASTIC 2025 album from this Sydney-based psych-garage outfit

A wondrous mix of psychedelic pop, rough-house garage-rock and bucolic, flutey goodness. There’s a lot of bands floating around in the post-King Gizz universe: Magic Machine are one of the best.

Super-limited edition on recycled green wax.

Turkey rocks!

Lovely gatefold LP edition of this incredible 1975 by this legend. Baris was one of Turkey’s biggest stars in his homeland, and the period of recordings he made in the ‘70s/‘80s, where he incorporated psychedelia, progressive-rock and electronics in his music, has found a devoted cult following around the globe. 2023 mixes Middle Eastern melodies with Krauty electronics and ‘Floyd-style prog to masterful effect.

Brilliant left-field rock & roll.

Fantastic and much-needed reissue of the sole LP by one of Australia’s most fascinating post-punk bands. Beginning in 1976 and splitting in 1979, just after this LP was released, Voigt/465 pushed the music of Can, Roxy Music, Velvets and Henry Cow into the post-punk universe. Avant-garde rock with some beautifully peculiar elements thrown in (can I hear traces of France’s Magma in their sound?) that differentiate them from their peers. Crucial strangeness from Down Under ca. nearly 50 years ago.
