The fifth solo LP from this Oz legend, known for his work with EVEN, THE CHURCH, PAUL KELLY and many more. On Alexandria Sunset, Ash has taken a slightly different tack from his previous soundtrack-oriented solo material, which was largely instrumental. Alexandria Sunset shows his deep love for classic rock: Zeppelin, Bowie, Small Faces, Donovan and more. Supreme songwriting and lush production with layered guitars, rich harmonies and soaring keys, this could've been recorded in 1973 or 2025. Distributed by Magnetic South.

OUT TOMORROW: THE PRIZE - In The Red LP. The debut LP by Melbourne's three-pronged guitar-attack power-pop rock 'n' rollers, THE PRIZE, is finally upon us! After two 7"s and two tours of Europe (yep, supporting King Gizzard then The Chats), the full-length is unleashed.
The band, which features drummer Nadine Muller sharing lead vocals with guitarist Carey Paterson together with guitarists Joseph Imfeld and Austin Haire as well as new bass player Ethan, is known for its powerful three-guitar frontline and melodic twin lead guitar. It combines punk and classic hard rock with power pop and new wave and cites its influences as Thin Lizzy, Cheap Trick, Pretenders, Blondie, Rolling Stones, Faces, Flamin' Groovies, Tom Petty, Dwight Twilley, Phil Seymour, The Toms, The Nerves and The Motors.
