A short update from us. We have been extremely overwhelmed with information & messages on all social media platforms regarding our caravan manufacturers recent news. Thank you to everyone for reaching out and showing your support, we really appreciate it. After our experience over the long weekend, it was good to move on and head further north on our journey. We found a free camp along a river where we had the area to ourselves which was a nice place to relax and unwind. We then moved on even further into the outback to the well known town of Cobar. We were pleased to find that there were many things to see & do in Cobar and quite enjoyed our stay both paid & free.

We leave beautiful Rutherglen and have a short stint in Wodonga before crossing the border into NSW. It’s the Kings Birthday long weekend and we find a lovely free camp in Darlington Point NSW, luckily with a few spots still available. The serene experience of camping by the river in the bush was short lived as several groups of campers ruined it for everyone else camping nearby. This was the worst scene of events that we have witnessed when camping but we’ll let the viewers be the judge. Do you think this was a disgrace?

After a very wet & cold few days camping by the river, we head further north through Victoria to the beautiful historic town of Rutherglen and charge up all the batteries at a caravan park. What a surprise this was, lovely grounds in and around the park, plenty of wineries & breweries about and the town was so quaint with so much to see. We explored some of the area on e-bikes which was so much fun but we only just scratched the surface so this place is straight to the bucket list for another time!

We are finding some terrific free camps in Victoria, great for all year round but... what is not ticking our box? We travelled through Wangaratta and stocked up on supplies before hitting some very windy roads in the mountains en route to our next camp. What a stunner! There’s just one thing that impacts our stay. Tune in to see what we’re talking about.

We’re back on the road but first, meal prep! We make our own sausage rolls to take on tour with King Billy’s pies and they’re delicious! We also spend the week having some good times with family & friends before we say good bye. The farm is looking amazing and we’ve done all we can down there so it’s time to go. Our first camp though has a very late arrival time. We have no idea what the campground looks like, how many people will be there and if we’ll even fit but we’re so excited to get back in the car & caravan so let’s go! Stay tuned for another epic journey.

The day has come, day 151 and we’re off! This is far from a normal departure day or moving day for people on the road. We’re leaving the farm at 4pm on a Sunday, heading to Melbourne to watch Harrison play soccer and then we’ll take off in the dark of the night. Have we packed everything we need, what will we forget, where are we going to stay tonight and what are the plans? Well, we’re just going to wing it and see where the journey takes us, the important part is to travel safe, have lots of fun and film some amazing content for our unreal viewers. So let’s go!

We had full intentions to getaway from the farm for a few days but remained put as we ended up at a poultry auction, created a home for our new farm animals, continued to empty things out of the caravan and Troy had more time to perfect the farm so it’s looking amazing. There’s never a dull moment with us or what we get up to on this channel but what’s next for us?

We’re back at the farm and there is so much to do before we take off again! There’s always things to clean up around the farm to help keep the property neat & tidy plus pest free. We also have the task of cleaning up a lot of our gear that we no longer need and selling it to a good home. With so many jobs to do and cleaning to conduct, we are full steam ahead before our next journey.

Just like that, we’re off again but not too far down the road this time. This caravan park was an absolute winner, we actually rated it as the best in South Gippsland! We had Site 28 which we thought was the best however there are a couple of other hidden gems within the park. With the full annexe set up, King Billy and all 4 dogs on tour, everyone was comfortable and dry the whole time until the guys decided to go out late at night. This episode has it all, fire, spit roast, fishing, relaxing and life in a caravan.
