After receiving ongoing feedback from fellow business owners and industry colleagues, it has become clear that my pricing has been well under the local market. While I’ve always loved offering affordable services, it’s time for an adjustment to ensure sustainability as we continue to grow.

All Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire prices will increase from Thursday, 1 January 2026 at 12:00 AM.

✔️ School Discounts will increase to 20%
✔️ The 10% Combined Rate Discount (Karaoke + Music per hour) will remain unchanged
✔️ Book before 31 December 2025 to lock in 2025 pricing

A special shoutout to Principal Craig Martin for jumping in and doing the Macarena — absolutely fantastic effort!

And of course, an even bigger shoutout to the amazing Year 10 students who packed the dancefloor all night! You brought the energy, the volume, and the moves to every classic — from YMCA, Macarena, Nutbush, and ABBA’s Dancing Queen & Mamma Mia, to modern hits like Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.”

🎓 Y School QLD Bundaberg Graduation – Wintergarden Bundaberg 🎤

What an incredible afternoon celebrating the Y Schools Queensland Graduation in Bundaberg at the beautiful Wintergarden!

A huge congratulations to all the graduating students — your energy, enthusiasm, and smiles lit up the entire venue. One of the highlights of the day was how much everyone absolutely loved the karaoke! It was amazing to see students come together, support one another, and finish their school journey on such a fun and memorable note.

And of course, we have to give a massive round of applause to the Teachers, who stole the show with their fantastic performance of “The Horses” by Daryl Braithwaite, along with a few other great hits! Their spirit and willingness to jump in on the fun made the event even more special.
