Baked Pears with Feta, Honey, and Cranberries π―π§π
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored π
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese π§
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped π
- 2 tablespoons honey π―
- 1 tablespoon olive oil π«
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves πΏ
- Salt and pepper, to taste π§
- Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish π°
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) π₯.
2. Halve the pears and scoop out the cores to create a small well in each half ππ₯.
3. Place the pears cut-side up in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, and fill each center with crumbled feta and chopped cranberries π§π.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pears soften and the feta starts to melt π½οΈ.
5. Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme. Season with salt and pepper π―πΏπ§.
6. Optionally, top with chopped walnuts for added crunch π°.
Serve warm as an appetizer or light dessert!
