The State, Assembly and John Cain Arena are excited to announce as part of the commencement of Treaty, we’ve got some special guests joining us to celebrate, including Alice Skye, Baker Boy, BRIGGS, Deborah Cheetham Fraillon, Missy Higgins, Yothu Yindi, Uncle Kutcha and friends.

'Palka (Embodiment)', the second single to be released from Crown and Country's extraordinary debut, is out today.

Palka (Embodiment) tells the story of the Australian continent as the body of the kangaroo, from east coast to west coast, and the songlines and trading routes that cross it as the blood and veins of the kangaroo. This story is reflected in the ritual cooking of the kangaroo by Warlpiri people. It also explains the place of people on the land, as the baby kangaroos in the mother kangaroo’s pouch. These songlines and the trading route are mirrored in the Milky Way and its stars; as above, so below.
