ANZAC Day is coming up 25 April, and to recognise the spirit of the National Day of Remembrance, events will be held across the Cairns region including Cairns City, Babinda, Edge Hill, Edmonton, Gordonvale, Stratford, Trinity Beach, and Yorkeys K**b.

The day is to recognise and honour the bravery of those who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. Lest we forget.

The Cairns City ceremony begins with a dawn service from 5.30am at the Cairns Esplanade Cenotaph. It will be followed by the commemorative march along the esplanade, leaving Fogarty Park at 7.30am, concluding with a service at the Cenotaph.
