WE ARE TAKING A BREAK 🍼✨

OJR Design will be temporarily hitting pause on taking new projects as we prepare for the imminent arrival of our first little gremlin 👶

To my amazing associates and Police family who make up the majority of my clientele, rest assured your projects are still rolling ahead. I'll be keeping in touch and continuing to bring your designs to life (with the occasional nappy break thrown in).

As we step into the chaos of first-time parenthood, we’re looking forward to a little downtime to learn the ropes and hopefully score at least a pass mark on this next big project called “parenting.”

Thanks for all the support and patience and I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things soon, with an extra set of tiny hands potentially working the tools 💛

👊A legend deserves nothing less 👊

OJR Design recently had the honour of creating a commemorative stubby cooler design for one of the Far North’s finest, Stevie Harris. A true stalwart of Gordonvale, the FNQ Marlins and the mighty Southern Suburbs 🍻

The design came up unreal on the coolers, and it’s a perfect reminder of what I here at OJR Design can do for your crew too. OJR Design offers full custom stubby cooler design and supply at competitive rates with the ability to print high-quality designs to show off your business, social club, special event (or special someone).

👉 Hit me up at OJR Design to get your next batch of coolers looking this good.

🌴 SMITHFIELD STATION 🌴

OJR Design is proud to present the brand new logo for the Smithfield Police Station Social Club, representing one of the most iconic policing regions in Far North Queensland.

The Smithfield crew cover everything north of Cairns City, from the Cattana Wetlands to Palm Cove, and everyone’s favourite beachside suburb name.... Yorkeys K**b. It’s a patch that’s equal parts paradise and chaos, and this logo gives a proper nod to all of it.

The design captures what Smithfield and their crews are famous for:
🦃 A jacked cassowary- one of FNQ’s unofficial mascot.
🚠 The Skyrail cable car, soaring over the divisions rainforest ridgelines.
🌊 The Palm Cove jetty and a sunset backdrop known to every local.
☕️ A CIB mug and a gold painted piece of tin (badge), a cheeky salute to the detectives who also support the division and form part of the station's troops.

From the rainforest to the reef, Smithfield Station covers it all, and this logo celebrates their pride, humour and hard work in one bold design.

Big thanks to Scott and Kim and the rest of the Smithfield crew for letting OJR Design bring this one to life.

If your unit, social club or business needs a custom logo or design that captures who you are and where you’re from, get in touch with myself here at OJR Design. We’ll make sure your story looks as good as it feels.

🌵 BEYOND THE BLACK STUMP WITH BLACKALL STATION🌵

Proud to showcase the brand-new emblem for the team at Blackall Station, designed right here at OJR Design.

For those that haven't stepped outside Brisbane CBD, Blackall sits in the heart of western Queensland, a place where the vast outback meets a proud community. Policing out here is as diverse as the landscape; from road policing on long open stretches, to community engagement, criminal investigations, and being first response to emergencies in some of the most remote corners of the state.

The new design reflects that toughness and versatility, and tips the hat to the towns proud rugby league club the Blackall Maggies. A badge for officers who wear many hats in a town that embodies resilience.

Blackall itself is steeped in history and character. It’s famous as the home of the Black Stump, giving rise to the saying “beyond the black stump” and a true indication of their remoteness in Australia. From its historic wool industry to its famous 'Hollywood' sign and strong rural community, Blackall is more than just a dot on the map, it’s an icon of outback Queensland and we think this logo, dreamed up by the guys at the station and brough to life here at OJR Design, is another strong homage to such a region.

The QPS SERT team have taken their OJR Design artwork and turned it into some seriously slick prints, stickers and merch. 👊🐕

“Brothers in Arms” looks even better off the computer screen, a proper tribute to the grit, teamwork and hard yakka with surgical precision these blokes live by every day.

Always stoked to see my designs getting the treatment they deserve and put to good use outside the digital canvas💥

🐊🐎 NEW LOGO DROP — Hopevale Police Station 🐎🐊

Out of the heart of Cape York’s wild country comes a logo as fierce, proud and full of character as the community it represents, introducing the new emblem for the team at Hopevale Police Station.

This design captures the spirit of the officers who serve one of Queensland’s most remote and culturally rich First Nations communities. The croc stands tall (well, rides tall) rearing up on horseback, a tip of the hat to the vast amount of wild horses one sees when in the division. Behind it all, Hope Vale’s iconic colours and country, with the shires welcome sign firmly in place, reminding you where this story lives.

👮‍♂️ The officers at Hopevale don’t just police, they stand with their community. From day-to-day duties to community outreach, cultural connection, and building trust in every interaction, these blokes are doing the real work far from the coffee shops of the southeast corners concrete saleyards.

Big thanks to the Hopevale team for letting me bring this unique logo to life, just when you think you've drawn it all!

Need your unit, club or crew represented properly?

🎙️ NEW LOGO DROP — “Chasing Those Splits” Podcast 🎙️

Introducing the official logo for the Chasing Those Splits podcast — where endurance meets experience, and pain caves meet shift work.

Helmed by Aussie-Kiwi duo Rod & Sam, both veterans of the Queensland Police Service, these boys podcast goes deeper than VO2 max and race-day rituals. It’s a raw, real, and often funny look at how these two blokes juggle early-morning runs, late-night shifts, and everything in between, chasing their PBs, purpose, and sometimes just enough sleep.

Their pod captures:
🚴‍♂️ The grit of endurance sports
👮‍♂️ The grind of government work
🔥 The fire that keeps ‘em chasing splits, not just crooks

Huge thanks to the lads for letting OJR Design bring their identity to life.
Whether you’re chasing splits or need a brand that's got attitude, hit me up.

💥 Follow the boys and add them to your podcast listening list today!

🚨🕵️‍♂️ GLADSTONE CIB 🕵️‍♀️🚨

Introducing the brand-new patch for the Gladstone District Criminal Investigation Branch, a badge as bold, bizarre, and beautifully gritty as the port town it calls home.

Nestled in the industrial heart of Queensland, where the skyline’s full of smokestacks, draglines and the fish literally grow a third eye for survival in the murky port, Gladstone CIB detectives do the hard, thankless yards. They’re the ones you want digging deep, knocking doors, and chasing leads through refinery haze and mining grime.

This logo is a tribute to the new and old, with Gladstone CIBs old ‘Blinky’ the three eyed fish getting a new lease of life alongside the current Cockatoo, all backed by Gladstone’s industrial icons; draglines, ships, chemical plumes, and just the right amount of nuclear symbolism to keep things spicy.

🔥 Designed with a bit of cheek and a lot of respect for the guys in the Gladstone District, bringing personality, pride and a whole lot of local flavour to their law enforcement brand.

Need a logo that’s more than just a badge?

📩 Hit up myself up at OJR Design, where every logo tells a story.

🚨 OJR Design x QPS SERT 🚨

This one means a lot.

Not the usual jacked-up animal. No gimmicks.

This piece was crafted for the Queensland Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) — the elite tactical operators of the QPS, trained to respond to the most high risk incidents.

Hostage situations, counter-terrorism, high-risk arrests, these blokes train for it all. Professionals who wade into danger so the rest of the QPS doesn’t have to.

This design was a shift for me. Far more realism, more depth, more pressure to get the little things right. Every detail was built to honour the professionalism, discipline, and abilities of a team that asks for nothing but gives everything.

To the operators of SERT: thanks for what you do — and thanks for trusting me with telling a bit of your story 💪.
