A pioneer in Cairns dance music scene, Josie has been involved behind the scene in event production and promotion in Cairns since the late 90's. As the Owner/operator of Iconic Cairns Record store Taste-y Productions from 2000 to 2012 she supplied the North with various Electronic music genres for 12 years.

With her vast knowledge of Electronic music, finally since the beginning of 2020, following her passion, Josie has been teaching herself to mix and found her place behind the decks. Loves playing for her crowd an eclectic variety of Deep Groovy House & Techno, NuDisco, World, Downbeat and more .....in her short DJ career she has been invited to play NQ’s biggest festivals.. OrinAya, NYX & Kuranda Roots.. Mushroom Valley and Tropical Fruits Lismore.

Expect the unexpected and let TasteyDJ take you on a musical adventure....
