NEW REHEARSAL SPACE – EOI

We’re opening up a new inner-city rehearsal space from next month.

Available evenings, 6–10pm, with a vocal PA, basic drum kit, and bass amp provided.

Ideal for bands and artists looking for a regular place to rehearse without having to lug everything in and out.

If you’re interested, shoot us a DM with your act, how often you’d want to rehearse and what evenings generally work for you.

EOIs open now. More details soon.

👏 HUGE CONGRATS to all the artists who showcased as part of 'The Next Wave' project - Aurelle & The Jams, MC Pyrit ft. Vivien Aisi, Owen Jacob - musician, Desirée Hobbins and Yindali Sharp. What a bunch of legends.

Massive thanks to Creative Life and Cairns Regional Council for supporting this project and making it possible, and to Cairns Festival for providing an amazing platform to showcase all the talent.

Next up, we will be showcasing a whole new bunch of artists at Tanks Arts Centre as part of Cairns Music Industry Gathering - stay tuned for more!

Meet Desirée Hobbins - a marine biologist from Canada who now calls Cairns home! 🐟🌴

She will be bringing her raw and powerful sound to the Cairns Festival Esplanade main stage on Sunday as part of The Next Wave.

Desirée has said she would LOVE to find a band. We are hoping that shining the spotlight on her talent helps her find her musical family. Is this you? 🥁🎸

We've been rehearsing and getting to know our artists at Elixir Music House the last few weeks.

Introducing first, from the Atherton Tabelands, Yindali Sharp!

She'll be opening the night with her own brand of acoustic indie pop. Can't wait to see her light up the big stage.

Keep an eye out over the coming week for some backstage banter with the rest of our artists. 🎶🎸
