As a proud Torres Strait Islander man, I’ve always carried the stories of my people, the spirit of the sea, and the strength of our ancestors with me — even deep into the dusty heart of the Australian outback.

Lately, I’ve been living the dream: traveling across Australia in my van, chasing sunsets, red dirt trails, and the thrill of gold prospecting. From the sunburnt goldfields of Kalgoorlie to the historic grounds of Victoria’s Golden Triangle, I’ve felt the rush of discovery and the peace of solitude.

💡 There’s nothing like the moment you see that glint in the pan… or the buzz of a metal detector hitting something promising. It’s not just about finding gold — it’s about connecting with the land, listening to its stories, and respecting its power.

Every journey brings a new lesson, a new yarn to tell, and maybe — just maybe — the next big nugget. But whether I strike it rich or not, the real treasure has been the freedom, the country, and the people I’ve met along the way.
