The love and affection towards his/her mother tongue is embedded in the heart and soul of every human being Wherever they are.Thus a Malayalam news publication was a dream of all the Malayalees in Sydney- Australia and that dream is becoming a reality very soon by the launch of “MALAYALEEPATHRAM” in Sydney. Since the number of Malayalees migrating to Australia especially to Sydney is increasing day by day, it has become a necessity to have a regular Malayalam publication in Sydney for the people to get informed. There are over 5000 Malayalees living in Sydney and around and they are going to enjoy this privilege. Through this MALAYALEE PATHRAM we are intending to promote the socio-cultural and the spiritual values of the “GOD’S OWN COUNTRY”, thus keeping the integrity of the Malayalees intact. There are many social community development programmes organised by various Malayalee organisations in Sydney. Eventually this monthly publication will become an ideal media for communication among the people by providing relevant information about work related queries and charitable needs of the community.We have already launched a similar MALAYALEE PATHRAM in Auckland, New Zealand.
