Exposing Fake Testimonies: The Truth About Miracles and True Men of God

It has been confirmed that the testimony of the lady who claimed she bought a house due to Ebuka Obi’s prayers was staged and completely fake. This is yet another example of how some individuals manipulate the emotions of believers for personal gain.

A true man of God does not need fabricated miracles to prove his authenticity. The presence of God in a person’s life is not always about material blessings or dramatic testimonies. Sometimes, the real evidence of God’s power is in inner peace, spiritual growth, and a transformed life.

Let’s not be deceived by showmanship and staged performances. God’s work is real, but it does not always come in the form of sudden wealth or flashy testimonies. Stay discerning, and let your faith be rooted in truth, not in theatrics.

Should Social Media Be Banned in Nigeria?

Social media has become a double-edged sword in our society. While it offers opportunities for business, networking, and entertainment, it has also become a breeding ground for immorality, deception, and crime.

These days, we see young girls flaunting luxury cars and expensive lifestyles without any clear source of income. Many gullible ones believe the lie that "quick money" is easy, leading them down dangerous paths. The pressure to "belong" has pushed many youths into fraud, ritual activities, and prostitution, all in the name of keeping up with the fake lives they see online.

The question is: should social media be banned in Nigeria? Or should we as individuals learn to filter what we consume and prioritize values over vanity?

Sophie’s Alleged Statement Sparks Reactions

Sophie allegedly claimed:

"I've hung out with Wizkid MANY TIMES and HAD A THING WITH HIM; he never stopped me from using my phone. But Burna’s security said he doesn’t allow phones – that irritated me."

From this statement, it’s implied that she has been with Wizkid multiple times. Given Wizkid and Burna Boy’s close friendship, one could assume that during their ‘boys’ talk,’ Wizzy might have hyped her up, saying something like:

"Baba, you need to try that babe oo. She sabi the work. Just no loose guard because she fit bill you heavily – na her way. Use your brain."

Now, Burna Boy, curious to see for himself, allegedly went in – but Sophie billed him ridiculously, demanding a Lamborghini. At that point, Burna must have thought, “But you no bill Wizzy Lambo. Na me you wan bill that? No wahala, we go see.”

Let’s not forget who Burna Boy is. This is the same man who was once banned from the UK due to street fights, who hustled through the rough streets of Port Harcourt before making it big. Do you really think someone with his street sense would spend that much on a one-night stand? Stefflon Don, his ex, got a Rolls-Royce after years with him—not for a single night.

Wizkid and Burna Boy remain close because they operate on the same wavelength and understand each other well.

The real issue here is how some people, especially young ladies, are glorifying what appears to be transactional relationships as "big classy girl" behavior. There’s nothing big or classy about using men for money—it’s actually the opposite. This is one of the reasons many relationships and marriages struggle today. When women idolize the wrong role models, any relationship without excessive financial gain feels like it’s failing.

Misplaced Priorities in the Face of Hardship

Nigeria is going through one of its toughest economic periods, with inflation soaring, unemployment rising, and the cost of living becoming unbearable for the average citizen. Yet, instead of focusing on real solutions, our leaders and even some citizens seem more concerned with distractions that do little to alleviate the suffering of the masses.

Rather than addressing pressing issues like job creation, stable electricity, and security, resources are being wasted on trivial matters, unnecessary political battles, and policies that only serve the elite. The focus should be on making life easier for the common man, but instead, we see misplaced priorities—luxurious government spending, irrelevant debates, and projects that have no direct impact on the people.

At the same time, some citizens have also adopted the wrong mindset, engaging in social media wars over politicians who don’t know them, celebrating the wealth of the rich while ignoring the struggles of their neighbors, and accepting mediocrity instead of demanding accountability.

Until we collectively redirect our focus to the real issues—demanding good governance, supporting policies that improve lives, and prioritizing economic growth over irrelevant distractions—things may not change. Nigeria has the potential to thrive, but only if we stop chasing shadows and face reality.

Burna Boy and the Alleged Car Promise: A Matter of Integrity?

If it’s true that Burna Boy promised her a car in exchange for intimacy, then he should fulfill his promise. A man’s word should be his bond, regardless of the circumstances. If you make an agreement—no matter how controversial—it’s irresponsible to go back on it after getting what you wanted.

This isn’t about morality but integrity. If you can’t keep your word in private dealings, how can people trust you in bigger matters? A promise is a promise, and breaking it makes you look untrustworthy.
